Photographically I would again say this isn’t a good composition but how often do you get to see the roots of a tree from underneath? Again there was symbolism here for me as roll forward 15 months from the Cotsworld Tree Sunset and I’d also now lost mum. Still not really taking it all in, and in between sorting out all those things you have to do when you have lost someone, Phil and I took time out in nature and to walk ancient woodland pathways. We found this tree, with a cavern like opening below revealing its roots. At a time that my own roots had been completely severed and raw, this too felt very revealing for me.
